Certified Research-based Rehabilitative Clinician (CRRC)

Our certification, CRRC, is created to provide support to our clinicians. Satisfactory completion of 4 courses and one elective course, and a passing score on the online comprehensive examination award the certification. Clinicians with CRRC certification abide by evidence-based practice, to promote a high quality of care to their patients and clients. Rather than adding just a few extra letters after your name, this certification reminds the clinician what, how, and why they provide their intended treatments, while creating meaningful connections with their patients.

Required courses:

• Empathy: From building trust to improving outcome

• Patient Engagement: Will she do your home exercise?

• Cultural Competence: Increasing your quality of care

• Treatment Intentionality: Don’t waste your time, and their time.

• One additional elective course

• Online comprehensive examination (open-book)

CREDENTIAL:

Certification will be given after successful completion of their comprehensive examination, and the participant can use the credential once they receive the certificate via email (a paper certificate can be sent via mail upon request). Each certification is valid for 5 years, and each participant will need to either take a recertification course (one-weekend course to be updated on new evidence) or take a recertification comprehensive examination after the 5-year period to reflect the continued dedication to evidence-based practice.
